Intern

Julia Press was an Intern in NewsGuard’s New York office. She is a rising senior at Tufts University, majoring in political science and sociology. Press spent the summer of 2016 as an intern on WNYC’s “The Takeaway,” a daily radio news show. She also worked as an intern on WGBH/PBS’ “The FRONTLINE Dispatch,” an investigative reporting podcast, throughout the podcast’s launch in the summer and fall of 2017. She has served as editor for the campus and web sections of the Tufts Observer, a biweekly newsmagazine, where she will be editor of the features section this fall. Press is a former member of Tufts Democrats and has participated in several “Get out the vote” drives.
