Silvia Bencivelli

Senior Advisor

Silvia Bencivelli was a Senior Advisor for NewsGuard and a member of NewsGuard’s Advisory Board for websites covering news in Italy. A science writer and radio-tv presenter, Bencivelli is a contributor to la Repubblica, Le Science, and Focus (Italian edition). She also presents a cultural press review for Rai Radio3, the cultural radio of the Italian broadcasting company.

Bencivelli, who is a medical doctor, teaches science journalism at the University of Rome and also teaches science communication at other universities. She is the author of several books about science and a novel.
