Laurence Piasco

Vice President for Strategic Partnerships

Laurence Piasco is NewsGuard’s Vice President for Strategic Partnerships, based in Paris. She previously worked at Dow Jones & Company, where she acquired news content from publishers based in France, Benelux, Africa, and the Middle East for research platform Factiva and Dow Jones Risk & Compliance database. Earlier, Piasco acquired news content for Aday (then known as EDD), a French media monitoring organization. Piasco started her career at Naville Distribution, a press wholesaler and distributor for the French speaking area in Switzerland, where she was in charge of the import of foreign publications. Piasco was born in France and earned a master degree in management at EDHEC business school in Lille in 2002.
