Aviva Waldman was an intern for NewsGuard, based in Chicago. Waldman is a sophomore at the University of Chicago pursuing a B.A. in English Language and Literature. She edits and reports for the longform features section of the Chicago Maroon, and reports for the paper’s news section. She previously interned in the editorial department at San Diego CityBeat.
