    Each site NewsGuard rates is assessed on nine journalistic criteria—such as whether the site repeatedly publishes false content, discloses its ownership and financing, or corrects factual errors when they are made—and receives a 0-100 trust score based on its performance on the criteria. Choose the score threshold for your inclusion list based on your level of risk tolerance.

  • Add or remove different source categories

    Even if a news source meets your overall Trust Score threshold, it may not match your campaign goals or brand guidelines. In this section, specify which categories to include (as long as the source meets your trust threshold) and which categories to exclude from the list even if the source meets your trust threshold.
