Eva Maitland

Staff Analyst

Eva Maitland is a Staff Analyst for NewsGuard. She previously worked as a Digital Threat Analyst for Crisp Thinking, a risk intelligence firm, where she reported on misinformation and extremism for social media platforms. Previously, Maitland taught English as a foreign language in Seville, Spain, and worked for market research firm Wine Intelligence in London. She also translated Spanish and Russian texts for a Spanish and Dutch NGO (Justicia Alimentaria and AFEW International, respectively). She is a graduate of Bristol University, with a degree in Russian and Spanish.
