Alessandra Hay is a Contributing Analyst at NewsGuard. Previously, she reported on Ukraine and Iran for The Counteroffensive and its sister publication, Iran War Dispatches. Her writing has also appeared in the London Review of Books and The Kyiv Independent.

Alessandra holds a BA in Russian and Farsi from the University of Oxford and an MA in Political Sociology from University College London’s School of Slavonic and East European Studies.
