Angelo Paura is a Contributing Analyst and Editor for NewsGuard. He focuses mostly on digital cultures, new media, technology, and politics. He is a regular U.S. contributor for the daily newspaper Il Messaggero and his work has been published in Italian and international media including Politico Europe, MediaShift, Vice, BBC World Service, the International Center for Journalists, Forbes, Esquire, Il Messaggero, Il Sole 24 Ore, and Il Corriere della Sera. He is also a visiting lecturer at Giorgio Bocca School of Journalism in Turin, Italy, where he teaches social media strategies and audience development.
Paura earned a master’s degree in social journalism from Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at CUNY. His one-year study of ethics in VR journalism has been published in English, Chinese, Dutch and Spanish.
