Anicka Slachta is a Senior Analyst for NewsGuard. She previously covered healthcare as the Digital Editor for Cardiovascular Business and also worked for the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, Indianapolis Monthly Magazine, Bloom Magazine, and Patch.com. Slachta graduated from Indiana University with a bachelor’s degree in journalism. At IU, she served as Managing Editor of the Indiana Daily Student.
