Lara Wiedeking was a Contributing Analyst at NewsGuard, based in Germany. She also works for ZDF German Television and its newscast heute+ as a reporter, and contributes to several German outlets, including Zeit Campus, UniSpiegel, and jetzt.de.

Wiedeking previously worked as a producer for ZDF. She was based in Washington for three years, covering Donald Trump on the 2016 campaign trail and the first two years of his presidency.
