McKenzie Sadeghi is NewsGuard’s Editor, AI and Foreign Influence and Director of Intelligence Products. She oversees NewsGuard’s work on the intersection of artificial intelligence and foreign influence, tracking state-sponsored propaganda, and providing digital intelligence solutions.

Sadeghi previously worked as a fact-checker and reporter at USA Today, focusing on misinformation related to the COVID-19 pandemic, elections, and international conflicts. As an undergrad at Arizona State University’s Walter Cronkite School, she covered politics for Arizona PBS. She has a master’s degree in journalism from Georgetown University and is currently an M.S. candidate in Cybersecurity Risk and Strategy at New York University.
