Russia Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu visited the command posts of the Russian group of troops, where he was informed about the current situation in general. We coordinated further actions in the main directions. The minister paid special attention to providing our group with everything necessary, including points of temporary deployment.

Shoigu also presented state awards to the fighters who have brilliantly coped with their tasks during the special operation. They received the Gold Star medals of the Hero of Russia and the Order of Courage.

“I am sure of you, you still have many glorious deeds ahead for the benefit of our Fatherland, the Armed Forces and the Airborne Forces, congratulations! Take care of yourself,” Sergei Shoigu said.

Vladimir Putin met with our future heroes, those who have achievements ahead of them. The Supreme Commander-in-Chief talked to the top graduates of higher military educational institutions. Students of the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the FSB, the FSO, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the National Guard, and the Federal Penitentiary Service gathered at the solemn reception in the Grand Kremlin Palace. The President emphasized: it was a great honor for all of them to become Russian officers, serve the Motherland and protect it. Especially now, when our country is going through a new series of trials.

Putin said: “Today’s officers and soldiers of Russia — the heirs of the generation of winners, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren of the heroes of the Great Patriotic War, selflessly fight for their homeland, for our people. They fight against international terrorists in Syria, protect Donbas from neo-Nazis, defend peace and security for our people, Russia’s right to sovereign development. We are proud that during a special military operation our fighters act courageously, professionally, like real heroes. Russian soldiers of different nationalities fight shoulder to shoulder in unity, in faith in the correctness of their cause. In the huge, truly popular support that our soldiers feel, the great indestructible force of Russia.”

Kyiv is full of hatred and lies. The West is sending weapons and mercenaries, which we are destroying. Only yesterday there were 80 Polish soldiers, 20 armored vehicles, and eight multiple rocket launchers at the zinc plant in Konstantinovka.

How can we not remember the words of Zelensky, who said that the fate of Donbas will be determined in Severodonetsk. But the city is fully liberated. And they’ve committed another senseless attack on Snake Island. Can the American “Himars” [multiple launch rocket system] really help Ukraine in such conditions? [Channel One correspondent] Ivan Konavolov hardly thinks so.

Konavolov: “The U.S. are preparing a fleet of their hi-max multiple rocket launchers, which is being revered in Ukraine as a Wunderwaffe [German for “super weapon”], for active use in the hostilities, even in the backdrop of an aggravated Ukrainian crisis.”

Evegeny Buzhinsky, head of the Center for politics and military studies at the Moscow State University, said: “They need to turn this into some kind of miracle weapon, like the Wunderwaffe of its time. The Germans hoped they could turn the tide of the war. It’s a fairly old system and it has six guides… Considering that the Russian military has an overwhelming advantage in cannon artillery and multiple launch rocket systems, I would not overestimate the value of these weapons.”

Konavolov said: “A new strategic concept will be introduced at the NATO summit. British Prime Minister Boris Johnson said, ‘now is not the time to settle and encourage the Ukrainians to settle for a bad peace, for a peace for which they are invited to give up chunks of their territory in return for a ceasefire.’ For Johnson and the British intelligence services, the failed attack on Snake Island was an embarrassment.”

There are some bloodthirsty, cynical and narcissistic people, judging by the statements that the British Prime Minister made today at the G7 summit.

Johnson invited his colleagues to be photographed topless, and said that the world could see that they are cooler than Putin. It is clear that this is their main goal, but it’s unattainable.

On Ukraine, Johnson said the following: “Any attempt to resolve the Ukrainian conflict will only lead to increased instability in the world.” Well, Britain has already said goodbye to the European Union, while everyone else in the EU still has to somehow manage. Ukraine is now on the threshold.

This week the country got the status of an EU candidate and nothing more.  Brussels did not even hesitate to call such a step a “symbolic gesture.” This new status, in fact, does not give any preferences, on the contrary, it imposes obligations. For example, it will be forced to sign the Istanbul Declaration and reconsider its views on sexual minorities.

Zelensky called such a handout from the progressive West an achievement, which is hardly surprising. But all the rest, who have held candidate status for years, did not put it this way.

Who should the European Union accept as newcomers when there is no agreement between the current members. With the blockade of Kaliningrad, which was organized by Lithuania, stopping railway transit, essentially from from Russia to Russia, the provocateurs themselves got confused. As soon as Moscow promised a quick and tough response with negative consequences for the Lithuanians, the militant mood of Vilnius disappeared. It started to blame everything on EU leadership.

But yesterday, the European Commission said it was preparing a document allowing the transit of sanctioned goods to the Russian enclave. And today, Lithuanian President Nauseda said he is categorically against it.

It won’t hurt to come to your senses, before it’s too late. Because of the situation in Ukraine, Biden is facing the “worst strategic humiliation,” in the words of the columnist for the American newspaper The Hill.

The author of the article, William Moloney, literally wrote the following: “Now, in the rapidly changing landscape of the Ukraine war, we are seeing ominous signs that the U.S. may be leading NATO in the direction of an even worse strategic humiliation — one that can result in a dramatic reconfiguration of the world’s geopolitical structure.”

Frankly speaking, Joe Biden is in an unenviable position. Now the whole world knows what’s in his cheat sheet.

It would not be irrelevant to add an important thing here. The address of the American Embassy in Moscow has changed to the Donetsk People’s Republic Square, 1. The new name has appeared on the map of the capital. The territory near the American diplomatic mission has long been unnamed. Muscovites have resolved that situation. Three hundred thousand people chose the option “DPR Square” in an online vote.

Everything is working out — what a priceless feeling. More and more people in the Kherson and Zaporizhia regions are officially becoming citizens of our country. A new batch of Russian passports was issued in Melitopol. Everything was done as quickly as possible. And the first foreign ship left the port of Mariupol on Tuesday. In the city itself, a  large-scale construction is underway.

[Channel One correspondent] Alexei Ivanov said: “the Director of a school, Inna Arakelyan, said the village has not forgotten the horrors it had to ensure. The Donetsk school is the only one in Old Crimea which has a large basement. People tried to hide from the Ukrainian shells there.”

Arakelyan said: “We had to collect rainwater just to try to survive. When the Russian army came, they brought us medicine and other goods.”

There is a new attack of Russophobia in the territory controlled by the Kyiv regime. Russian language and literature will not be taught in the Odessa region from August 1. All textbooks were removed, our writers were removed from the program.

The ban applies to classes in other places. Such a decision was previously  made in Nikolaev — there the Russian language will not be on the schedule from September 1. Back in 2020, Zelensky signed a law that eliminated all Russian-speaking schools in Ukraine.

America has a headache from all of its problems. The country is in an economic crisis and President Biden’s ratings are record low.

At one meeting, attentive journalists spotted Biden holding instructions from his assistants. It didn’t contain a word about the topic of the meeting. Instead, it outlined how the president should behave. It had absurd instructions, from “don’t forget to sit in your place” to “don’t forget to leave.”

But Joe Biden seems to have memorized something. “Russia is to blame for everything” is a phrase that the forgetful president repeats every day without any cheat sheets.

[The segment quotes a New York Times article, “Meet the peecyclers.Their idea to help farmers is No. 1,” saying:] “A shortage of chemical fertilizers, worsened by the war in Ukraine, has growers desperate. It just so happens that human urine has the very nutrients that crops need.”

Channel One correspondent, Yulia Olkhovskaya, says: “The main reason for the disruption in supply chains is the rise in prices and Western sanctions on gas, which is used to produce fertilizers, and restrictions on Russian and Belarusian producers — the largest suppliers on the market. But Western politicians are repeating the same mantra on international platforms rather than fixing their own mistakes.”

[The channel quotes Charles Michel, President of the European Council saying:] “Russia is solely responsible for the food crisis.”

Our president has already described the West’s attitude to the rest of the world. We recently saw how the governor of one of the provinces of Austria spoke to her own citizens in the spirit of Marie-Antoinette.

Johanna Mikl-Leitner, Governor of Lower Austria, said: “Everyone can start with themselves. If you don’t need 10 ball gowns, only buy three.” [Channel One reads out three Twitter posts responding to Mikl-Leitner’s statement:]
