Andrea López-Cruzado was a Contributing Analyst for NewsGuard. She worked for over 11 years for Dow Jones, first as an editor for The Wall Street Journal Americas and then as a digital editor for luxury real estate trilingual portal Mansion Global. She has also served as copy editor for Bloomberg News in Spanish and as a correspondent for El Comercio, Peru’s main daily newspaper.

Lopez-Cruzado is a native of Peru. She has a personal blog called Chompas en febrero, where she tells stories that draw inspiration from her experiences as a first-generation immigrant in the United States. She graduated from William Paterson University in Wayne, New Jersey.
