John Towfighi is NewsGuard’s UK editorial intern. Towfighi is a rising senior at Columbia University, where he is a senior staff writer for the Columbia Spectator, the school’s independent undergraduate student newspaper. Towfighi, who is pursuing a double major in history and economics, previously interned as a research assistant for Gatemore Venture Partners, a VC firm based in London, England.
