In October, NewsGuard tested the 10 leading chatbots — OpenAI’s ChatGPT-6, xAI’s Grok, Inflection’s Pi, Anthropic’s Claude, Mistral’s Vibe, Microsoft’s Copilot, Meta AI, Google’s Gemini, Perplexity’s answer engine, and DeepSeek AI — on 10 provably false claims that NewsGuard analysts had identified spreading online about candidates and election processes ahead of the Nov. 3, 2026, vote.
